About Mohan Saravanan

Saravanan is the Founder, CEO, and CTO of ScamNet Anti-Scam Solutions (Pte. Ltd.), a Singapore-based cybersecurity company focused on combating scams rooted in social engineering. He leads the company’s product strategy, technical development, and overall vision — including the creation of ScamNet, a mobile app that uses on-device intelligence, backed by cloud technologies, to help users detect, report, and block scams in real time.

Before founding ScamNet in 2023, Saravanan served with the Singapore Police Force’s Anti-Scam Command, where he developed internal tools, supported investigations, and implemented automation to enhance scam detection workflows. He was awarded Best PNSF of the Year 2023, presented by Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Lawrence Wong.

He previously worked at DBS Bank as a Junior Site Reliability Engineer, where he contributed to DevOps and full-stack automation projects. His technical and operational experience — combined with direct exposure to scam enforcement — shapes ScamNet’s practical and user-focused approach to digital safety.

Saravanan is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at the University of Wollongong (SIM, Singapore) and holds a Diploma in Information Technology from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
